Therapy to find the root of the problem.
A compassionate, supportive space to explore what’s beneath the surface, understand the patterns shaping your life, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Welcome, Meet Asha Katz-Feinstein
I’m Asha Katz-Feinstein, a registered psychotherapist practicing in Ontario. I can support you while you face what feels too big to face alone. I work with the general adult population; I also specialize in therapy for inner child/attachment trauma, as well as therapy for parents. I can help you show up in your life and your relationships with more calm, confidence, and joy.
My approach allows you to look deep within yourself to the root of the challenge you are facing. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-focused, psychodynamic, and narrative therapies. I will steady you as you discover the parts of yourself that are stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you, and guide you as you speak with and heal them.
I have worked with many therapists myself, and I know it can be hard to find the right person to support you. Schedule a free consultation so I can answer any questions you have about what our work could look like for the specific challenge you’re navigating.
My Approach to therapy
My work as a therapist is to steady you as you explore and care for the fraught parts of your inner world. Sessions are filled with consistent work that I compare to the process of removing splinters or untangling a fine gold chain. They are marked by moments of hope, relief, and realizing. Through our work, you will gain knowledge and tools to create change in your day-to-day life and also deep healing in your inner world.

Therapy For Parents
Parenting brings moments of deep joy and connection, but it can also come with stress, exhaustion, and self-doubt. Many parents feel pressure to always have the answers while balancing work, relationships, and the needs of their children. Therapy offers a supportive space where you can step away from those pressures and focus on your own experience.
In therapy, we can explore the challenges that come with parenting at any stage. You may be navigating the early years of parenthood, adjusting to changes in your family, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of caring for others while trying to care for yourself. Together, we’ll create space to reflect on what you’re going through and better understand the patterns, emotions, and expectations that shape your parenting experience.
Our work can help you develop tools to manage stress, respond to challenges with greater patience and clarity, and feel more grounded in your role as a parent. Therapy can also support you in strengthening communication, building healthier boundaries, and reconnecting with your own needs and values.
